Regarding the information published in recent days about an alleged payment of commissions by Luis Hernández, Carlos Espino assures:
1.- I have never had any contact with Luis Hernández, nor with any person acting on his behalf or his mediator in relation to the developments he owns in Playa Blanca.
2.- I have never requested or accepted any payment for the steps I had to take as a public official.
3.- I have never requested or accepted any payment to modify my decisions as a public official or to alter the meaning of my vote in a collective decision.
4.- When I have been offered money to act outside the law, I have adopted the only correct and possible decision: to report the attempted bribery.
5.- I do not know the reasons that those who have launched these accusations may have; whether it is an attempt to discredit me as a complainant or whether the person making them has been the result of extortion in which my name has been used improperly and repugnantly. In any case, clarifying these facts will be up to the Courts.
