Canal Gestión tenders several contracts two days after Lanzarote agrees to hijack the service

The subsidiary of Canal Isabel II in Lanzarote publishes the contracts to supply energy to its facilities, the cleaning services and the maintenance of green areas for several years

Canal Gestión Lanzarote has put out this Wednesday for public exhibition the tender of three services, one related to the maintenance of the green areas under its charge, the supply of electrical energy for the facilities and the cleaning services of the facilities.

The publication of these contracts in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas occurs just two days after the Water Consortium of Lanzarote unanimously approved to seize the service and initiate the procedures to rescind the contract of the integral cycle of water and take it out of the hands of the subsidiary of the Madrid public company Canal Isabel II.

Among the public contracts, Canal Gestión has published the maintenance and conservation of the landscaped areas that are located in the desalination centers, the wastewater treatment plants,  the offices and the commercial premises. The submission of offers for this contract will conclude next May 13 and must be carried out at the headquarters of Canal Gestión on the road between Arrecife and Las Caletas, at kilometer 3.5.

The company responsible for the water service on the island has also put out to public tender the energy supply to its facilities on the island for two years and for 34,510,819 euros, this submission deadline will conclude on May 18.
