Belén Morales Cabrera has been re-elected local secretary of the PSOE of Tinajo in the assembly held on the night of this Thursday, April 7. Belén Morales will be accompanied by Manuel Quintana Medina as deputy secretary and secretary of Administration, and Manuel Florián Toribio Bernal as head of the Secretariat of Organization and Electoral Action.
The new local secretary of the PSOE of Tinajo pledged to "redouble" her efforts and those of her team "so that the progressive message of the Socialist Party reaches every corner and every person in the municipality." In Belén Morales' opinion, Tinajo "needs a change in the City Council, since the project of the current municipal government is exhausted."
"The PSOE represents what Tinajo needs"
Belén Morales has proposed "to increase the number of members of the party, connect with young people and convince the majority of the population that the PSOE represents what Tinajo needs to develop and improve their quality of life." The new leadership's priority is "to listen to residents and bring solutions to their needs to the City Council."
The complete team of Belén Morales Cabrera is made up of Manuel Quintana Medina, deputy secretary and head of the Secretariat of Administration; Manuel Florián Toribio Bernal, secretary of Organization and Electoral Action; Begoña Hernández Nóbrega, secretary of Municipal Policy; and Wilfredo Toribio Quintero, secretary of Training and Social Networks.
"Don't be complacent and continue working even harder and better"
The re-elected local secretary of the PSOE of Tinajo thanked the trust placed in her and her team. She also referred to the recent published surveys, which predict "favorable results for the PSOE and support the good work done by María Dolores Corujo at the head of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and Ángel Víctor Torres in the Presidency of the Canary Islands." However, Belén Morales demanded "not to be complacent and continue working even harder and better."
The representatives of Tinajo in the Insular Committee, the highest body between congresses of the PSOE of Lanzarote, are Luis Abreu González, María del Mar Morales Cabrera and Vicente Tavío Fernández (Alternates: José Antonio Cabrera Rojas and Magdalena Duque Umpiérrez). The process of renewal of the leaderships of the socialist groups of Lanzarote that will culminate at the end of this month of April.
