The councilor of the Popular Party in the City Council of Tinajo expresses his disappointment at the uncooperative attitude with which Jesús Machín begins a new term at the head of the council.
Baldomero Cabrera considers the mayor's manners, which in the constitution of the corporation did not give the floor to any councilor of the opposition to, at least, have the possibility of thanking the residents for the support received in the past elections, a lack of respect to the residents.
Cabrera assures that these forms, far from discouraging the work of opposition, what they produce is more desire to work for the residents, with more eagerness if possible, and continue with the constructive policy that Tinajo needs. "Forms that the mayor does not know and refuses to put into practice within the City Council and, in this specific case, in the highest municipal management body such as the Plenary", points out the popular councilor.
Despite the fact that during his speech, Machín stated that he was going to govern with transparency, it is clear that the Mayor is not starting off on the right foot, as he chose not to allow the intervention of the representatives of the different political forces and not to give a voice to the opposition, which, like him and his government group, also represent the residents of the municipality, much to his regret, it seems.
The councilor of the Popular Party in the City Council reiterates that participation, transparency and collaboration are essential to promote the municipality of Tinajo.
"Regardless of whether there is sufficient political majority, it is clear that all members of the corporation have the sole objective of defending the interests of the residents of Tinajo and making proposals to get the municipality out of the stagnation in which it finds itself."
"In this sense, we all have interesting things to contribute, also from the opposition, as long as we are allowed to express ourselves and provide the tools to fulfill our work", says Baldomero Cabrera.
