The Tías City Council reinforces the work of cleaning up the roads in the municipal area and the cleaning of properties of the neighbors after the incorporation of a tractor driver and another maintenance driver to the staff of the Public Works area, managed by Ulpiano Calero.
The objective of the governing group, made up of PSOE and Unidas Sí Podemos, is to advance in the adaptation of these unpaved roads, prone to potholes, so that their use is more comfortable, as was carried out these days in the area of Camino de Los Olivos.
In addition, the City Council carries out the free service of raking private properties of those neighbors who request it. In this way, debris is eliminated, pests are avoided, and the land is kept in good condition, especially when it is used for agriculture.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, the first deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, and the councilor for the area, Ulpiano Calero, toured some roads in the municipality in need of intervention these days and visited farms where raking machinery was already being used.
“We continue to advance in the maintenance and improvement of our roads and farms, reinforcing the human and technical resources of the City Council. We want to offer an agile and close service, which responds to the demands of the neighbors and contributes to conserving our rural spaces in the best conditions,” indicated José Juan Cruz Saavedra.
