Astrid Pérez visits the facilities of the future large Open Mall Lanzarote Shopping Center

The mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, visited this Friday the works of the future large Open Mall Lanzarote Shopping Center that will open its doors to the public this coming autumn, after an investment of 21 million euros and after the capital City Council granted a license for its construction in September 2019.

The mayor was received by Miguel Morales, owner of the construction company Hormiconsa and head of the Parque Islas Canarias Real Estate Developer that manages the aforementioned shopping center, who detailed the work carried out in the more than 32,000 square meters of useful exhibition and sale area of the building located at number 156 Calle León y Castillo, which will have 92 commercial premises, nine warehouses, two kiosks and 952 underground parking spaces.

Astrid Pérez stressed during her visit, in which she was also accompanied by the technical team in charge of the construction of the shopping center, "the boost that the opening of the Open Mall Lanzarote means for the city, as it will mean a substantial improvement in terms of the commercial offer of Arrecife" and congratulated its promoters "for carrying out this initiative that will serve as an economic incentive for the city and will create numerous jobs".
