The San Bartolomé City Council has started the asphalting works on Chimidas Street in Playa Honda, in the section between the Corbeta and Princesa Ico roads.
The works, which are carried out by the company Herederos de Juan Acuña S.L., have an execution period of one month and have a budget of 63,178.50 euros, paid "with funds from the City Council", according to the mayor of San Bartolomé, María Dolores Corujo.
"These works are in addition to those already carried out in numerous streets, which have modernized the roads of Playa Honda. With it, the improvements in resurfacing planned for this year are completed, which are added to those carried out throughout the municipality, exceeding 4.5 million euros in resurfacing, and to which the modernization of the lighting of the town will also be added", highlighted the Councilor for Public Works of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera, who stated that the 2019 budget will include "more investments in resurfacing".
