Arturo Telle's underwater photos transport Lanzarote to South Korea

The underwater photos of Arturo Telle have moved to South Korea to promote the island. The current champion of Lanzarote and winner of the past two editions of the Open Fotosub Lanzarote, in collaboration with the Lanzarote Tourist Board, acted as ambassador of the island and distributed, among all attendees of the World Underwater Photography Championship in South Korea, information about the island of volcanoes. Specifically, he gave away a CD with 100 underwater photographs of the Lanzarote seabed, which was very well received by the photographers participating in the event, who promised to visit Lanzarote as soon as possible.

After a 12-day stay in South Korea, last weekend the Spanish representatives returned from Jeju-Do, the island located south of South Korea, where the 12th World Underwater Photography Championship was held. The Spanish team was in this case composed entirely of Canarian photographers, Carlos Minguell and Arturo Telle, champions of Spain of the past two years.

This demonstrated the high level of Spanish athletes, who obtained 2nd and 4th place in the final classification, in addition to winning four medals, one gold and one bronze each. The Norwegian Esdpen Rekdal took the victory, and the third place in the general classification was occupied by the Korean photographer Eok Soo Kim.
