The Arrecife City Council, led by Mayor Yonathan de León, announces the execution of important works on the road network of the capital of Lanzarote, from its resurfacing, improvement of accessibility, or new road signs. A municipal investment plan with allocations in the municipal budget for this 2025.
Within this planning, and with the inter-administrative coordination of the municipal areas, the Department of Mobility and Transportation, led by Councilor Mario González Altube, has published the tender for the “Service for the conservation, maintenance, supply and installation of road signs in the municipality of Arrecife” where an investment of 317,757.00 euros will be allocated.
According to the technical specifications and the tender announcement, the Arrecife City Council is calling this tender where an annual contract is foreseen, for 158,878.50 euros, extendable to a second year.
Mario González Altube has highlighted that with this tender "it is intended to provide the Mobility Area, to which the Municipal Signage Service is attached, with the supplies and personnel for the provision of maintenance, conservation and installations of municipal signage on the road network, which in the coming months will be renewed with other actions". Companies wishing to apply for this tender have until October 6 to register their economic and technical proposals.
Improvement of the road network in the neighborhoods of Arrecife
In parallel, the Department of Public Works, under the direct direction of Mayor Yonathan de León, has already budgeted a new tender for a new phase of the Municipal Resurfacing Plan, which will allow this Department to continue during the next autumn with new actions to renovate the asphalt pavement in many streets of the neighborhoods of Arrecife. The investment in this new phase will be more than one million euros, the city's first mayor has advanced.
