The Arrecife City Council continues with new tenders within the Municipal Investment Plan for this 2024. The Public Sector Contracting Platform has published the official contest of the Consortium presided over by the mayor Yonathan de León for the improvement of half a hundred streets in the capital of Lanzarote.
This new tender, promoted by the Department of Public Works of the Arrecife City Council, will reinforce the improvement of the pavement in another 50 streets together with the actions in five neighborhoods of Arrecife, which are underway with the start of this 2024, and which will allow throughout this 2024 to provide new asphalt pavement to a set of almost 150 streets throughout the municipality.
Companies interested in competing have until April 1 to register their economic proposals, accompanied by the documentation requested in the technical specifications. The Arrecife City Council has allocated to this tender, called "Maintenance service. Rehabilitation and conservation of pavements of the Arrecife road network "the amount of 1,198,635.66 EUR, including taxes".
The mayor of the city, Yonathan de León, has remarked that during this term "the entire municipal road network of Arrecife will be renovated. In the summer and autumn of last year we made improvements in the neighborhoods of Altavista, Titerroy, Valterra and the center. During this spring and summer we will focus the resurfacing plan in the neighborhoods of Argana Baja, San Francisco Javier, Las Salinas La Destila and a sector of Altavista. And with this new tender, we will continue in this second semester of the year executing transformation improvements in all the neighborhoods of Arrecife".
De León has reiterated that "during this term all modernization actions have as a priority to improve all the neighborhoods" of Arrecife. "The neighbors feel every day the municipal works in the streets of our city," emphasized the prime minister, who is the direct head of the Department of Public Works.
