Arrecife recognizes Bar Tin Tan for its more than half a century of existence in the capital of Lanzarote

The Department of Commerce, Tourism and Hospitality of the Arrecife City Council, under the direction of the second deputy mayor, Armando Santana, has recognized the good work and history of the Tin Tan Bar, in the capital of Lanzarote, for its more than half a century serving its clientele in Arrecife.

Councilman Armando Santana attended this Thursday to directly present a plaque to Juan José Gutiérrez Hernández, owner of the Tin Tan bar, in recognition of this hotel establishment in the city for its 52 years of continuous activity in the hospitality industry in Lanzarote.

With this recognition, from the Hospitality, Tourism and Commerce Area of Arrecife, we want all the residents of Arrecife to be aware of the success and drive of small family businesses, as in this case, where the Tin Tan Bar has managed to remain for more than half a century in the hospitality sector of Lanzarote, providing confidence and excellent service to its daily clientele.

Tin Tan has been operating at the current address of Doctor Juan Negrín Street, 72, in Arrecife, since 1967, when Arrecife still stood out for its important activity as a small fishing port, and where tourism was landing on the island of volcanoes in those years.
