Arrecife publishes the bases to request new positions in street markets of the capital for a term of eight years

A maximum of 20 authorizations will be granted for the Arrecife Street Market and 35 for the Tourist and Artisan Market. The deadline for submitting applications is January 4, 2014?

The Arrecife City Council, through the Department of Tourism, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, has already published the document containing the rules for applying for new stalls for street vending in the market held every Wednesday and Thursday in Juan de Quesada Street (next to the Charco de San Ginés), as well as in the Tourist and Artisan Market that takes place every Saturday in Calle Real and its surroundings.

For the Arrecife Street Market, the granting of authorizations is planned for the installation of a maximum of 20 stalls with dimensions of 3x3 meters, while in the case of the Tourist Market, the installation of 35 stalls of 3X3 meters is planned, of which 12 are intended for food.  

According to the rules, in the event that the maximum number of stalls indicated is not covered, the license holders who need it may opt for another stall of the same size. The maximum duration of the authorizations regulated in this call will be 8 years.

Those interested should submit their applications to the General Registry of the Arrecife City Council or by any of the means established in article 38.4 of Law 30/1992, of November 26, on the Legal Regime of Public Administrations and the Common Administrative Procedure. The deadline for submitting applications ends on January 4, 2014 at 13:00 hours.
