The Arrecife City Council, through the Department of Tourism, offered this Friday morning, May 30, a tasting of Canarian products and gastronomy. Turismo Arrecife, an area under the direction of Councilor Eli Merino, set up a stand for these tastings in the emblematic Muelle de la Pescadería, near the José Ramírez Cerdá Park, where the Municipal Government celebrates Canary Islands Day.

The tasting of these varied products has featured the musical setting of a conejera parranda. Among the personnel who participated offering these tastings, the mayor Yonathan de León, the Councilor for Tourism, Commerce and Sports, Eli Merino, and the Councilor for Transportation and Mobility, Mario González Altube, among others, participated.

The island products were given to taste on 'recreated trays in jolateros', one of the symbols of the city of Arrecife with a coastal and seafaring past born next to the Charco de San Ginés.

Throughout the morning, the Arrecife City Council, through the Departments of Sports and Tourism and Commerce, has held several exhibitions of traditional games and sports between the Muelle de La Pescadería area and the José Ramírez Cerdá Park tents.
