From this Monday, the Arrecife City Council is proceeding with the demolition of the wooden kiosks that are located in the La Pescadería area, next to the old Parador de Turismo building, and on the avenue, next to Playa del Reducto.
The demolition of these facilities, "very deteriorated" according to the City Council, is being carried out by the Department of Tourism, Commerce and Tourism, under the direction of Councilor Armando Santana. During this time, the capital's Consistory has had to carry out legal actions for the recovery of these kiosks.
Once these kiosks have been demolished, the government group plans to launch a contest for the design of the new elements, as a common image integrated into the Arrecife coastline, and its subsequent tender as terraces.
