The Department of Health of the Arrecife City Council has formalized the Comprehensive Pest Control Service: Disinfection, Disinsection and Rodent Control, which has been awarded to the specialized company TAHITABA CONTROL, SL.

With a value of 102,973.21 euros plus 7,208.12 euros in respect of IGIC, this service will initially be provided for two years, with the possibility of extending it for two additional years.

The contract, which requires the assignment of specialized personnel and the necessary technical means, represents a firm commitment to public health in Arrecife.

The Head of Contracting of the capital's Consistory, Echedey Eugenio, has highlighted the importance of this service, which responds to the demands of the residents and meets the most demanding health standards.

“The safety of Arrecife is our priority, and this award is the result of an exhaustive process to guarantee a rigorous and effective pest control service. We want to offer a clean and safe environment for everyone, eliminating risks and ensuring the quality of life of our citizens,” says Eugenio.

Likewise, the deputy mayor has also highlighted that this service not only addresses the immediate needs of disinfection, disinsection and rodent control, but “is a preventive measure that will allow us to act proactively.”

For his part, the Councilor for Health, Jacobo Lemes, underlines the positive impact that this service will have on the prevention of health problems, highlighting that “pest control is essential to avoid public health problems, guaranteeing the well-being of our residents and reinforcing the environmental and health quality of all public spaces.”
