Nueva Canarias criticizes that Coalición Canaria is positioned "against investments for Arrecife." "From NC we are astonished to see the attitude of CC with the budget increase that the Government of the Canary Islands has allocated to our city, with an investment of more than 3 million euros; something that the governments of Coalición never did for this capital", criticizes the NC spokesman in Arrecife, Armando Santana.
“Instead of being happy for the residents of Arrecife and getting to work, Echedey has done the same as always: lie and stir up controversy, becoming what he always is, someone who only occupies himself with sabotaging the work of others”, emphasizes Santana, regarding the "attacks and insults from CC regarding the money allocated to the municipality from the Government of the Canary Islands", he adds.
From NC they remember that CC "has had a lot to do with the municipal government, the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands", so they ask for "a dose of self-criticism".
"Fortunately, this Government of the Canary Islands is working to change this trend, focusing on fundamental issues for the quality of life of the residents of Arrecife, items that are explicitly stated with names for our city", says Santana.
The items in data
Among the items are those of the "Integrated Vocational Training Center Zonzamas with 500,000 euros or that of Argana with 300,000 euros, the IES Cesar Manrique with 300,000 euros, the Integrated Vocational Training Center of Maneje with 250,000 euros, the IES of Las Salinas with 100,000, the IES of Altavista with 200,000 euros, the improvement of the open commercial area with 400,000 euros, the Maritime Fishing Vocational Training Institute with 725,000 euros", highlights NC. "Items that add up to more than 3,000,000 euros", he adds.
The hemodynamic investment in the Doctor Molina Orosa Hospital or the construction and equipment of the radiology bunker are "historical demands" that CC "DID have the opportunity to do and turned its back on this municipality", points out Santana. "Fortunately, with this Government of the Canary Islands, progress is being made today", he adds.
"The largest items of this government in educational matters in general", explain from NC, served to benefit with "more teachers, more scholarships, with more professionals than ever, more economic resources in social rights; increasing the items for those most vulnerable in terms of employment or housing", they highlight.
