Coalition Canaria Lanzarote began, on Friday night, in Tinajo, the first of the meetings, which aim to elect the new members of the Local Committees of the Island, as well as the new names that will make up the Island Political Council, after the celebration of the Congress.
Antonio Morales Fernández becomes the new president of the Local Assembly of Coalición Canaria in Tinajo, replacing Jesús Machín, who holds the position of Island president of the nationalist formation.
In Morales' team, the election of Luisa García as vice president and Manuel Guillén as secretary of organization of Tinajo also stands out.
The management report of the outgoing president, Jesús Machín, highlighted "the closeness of the committee members to the needs of the neighbors and the important transmission belt for the management of the municipal group. I think I have learned a lot from all the members of his committee."
Machín said goodbye with sadness, although he also gave advice to the new president; "consensus and dialogue in addition to closeness to the affiliates and neighbors giving the nationalist message".
For his part, the elected president of the Tinajo Assembly, Antonio Morales, thanked the unanimous support received last night, while announcing that "the local committee must supervise the government group from the attention to neighborhood demands"
Morales assures that "my new team is as happy as I am for the election, because we are a renewed team with a great desire to work, from Coalición Canaria, for our town and our people. That has been, is and will continue to be, our main and only objective. Fight for our people".
