Andoni Machín has taken office as a councilor in the Ordinary Plenary Session of the Teguise City Council held this Tuesday, in which he will lead the area of Festivities, Youth, Sociocultural Centers, Municipal Radio and New Technologies.
As you may recall, Machín replaces councilor Carlos Cejudo after his resignation as a councilor in the municipality's City Council.
Machín occupied number ten on the Canary Coalition list, but the two previous ones, Sara Bermúdez and Daniel Morales, also resigned from their positions.
In taking office, the new councilor stated that "it is an honor for me to be part of the government group and the plenary session of the Teguise City Council and I want to thank all the people who are here today supporting me."
"Those who know me know that I am not afraid of challenges and I try to achieve everything I set out to do and I will work hard for all the towns in the municipality of Teguise and the island of La Graciosa," the councilor concluded.
