"People leave my concerts with a smile; I think that's my power." These are the words of the singer Alejandro Sanz, who gave a press conference this Monday at 10:00 p.m. in Arrecife, where he was "excited" to be able to play on the island. "It's been a long time since I've been to Lanzarote and I'm looking forward to it," the artist said, before the concert he will give this Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. at the Sports City. In this way, Lanzarote will once again enjoy this musician, who
came to the island for the first time in 1996.
Because for Alejandro Sanz it had been "too long" since he had come to the Canary Islands. "That was the thorn in my side, but now we are here," he said, while smiling that he believes his "band has come before to enjoy the island." In Arrecife he will begin his tour of the Archipelago, where he will present "Paraíso Express." After playing here, he will leave for Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
Alejandro Sanz comes to Lanzarote with "good feelings", after his tour of the United States has been a success. "I have a good feeling, I think people will respond here too", he confided.
Sanz has been presented during this press conference with a timple by the mayor of Arrecife, Cándido Reguera, and has promised the Canarians that on his next album "they will be able to hear the instrument." "Whenever I am given one, I use it," said the artist.

Asked what advice he would give to a musician who is just starting his career, Sanz, who has been very friendly during the press conference, said that he would insist that he "give it up." "As things are, study medicine. It is a very difficult path, but I would tell him to be true to what he does. I prefer to be wrong alone, because that way, both the mistakes and the successes will be mine," he considered.

He also recalled with laughter his first concerts, in which sometimes they threw "forceful things" at the stage. "Luckily, now it's very different," said Alejandro Sanz, who this Tuesday hopes to make the people of Lanzarote vibrate. The concert of this artist will begin at 9:30 p.m., but the doors of the Sports City will be open from 7:00 p.m. so that people can access the venue.
