The airline Jet2.com will introduce a weekly flight between Lanzarote and Manchester. This expansion was scheduled for March 28, 2013, but due to the "high demand from British tourists" it has been decided to bring it forward to February 14, 2013 .
Flights will depart every Thursday. This plane joins the existing one on Sundays, from Lanzarote to Manchester.
"In the United Kingdom we are promoting Lanzarote as one of the ideal destinations for both winter and summer and this expansion of places demonstrates our commitment to the island", said the general director of Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy.
