Man recovered by the SUC from cardiorespiratory arrest in a hotel in Lanzarote
A 52-year-old man has been recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest by SUC personnel at the Hotel Costa Calero and has had to be transferred in serious condition to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
At approximately 15:33 hours, an alert was received at the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 reporting the loss of consciousness of a person in the pool bar area of a hotel in Costa Calero, in the municipality of Yaiza.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.SUC personnel who arrived in two ambulances confirmed that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest, so they began to perform basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers for 45 minutes, until they managed to reverse the arrest. Once stabilized, the man was transferred in serious condition in a SUC medicalized ambulance to the island's Hospital.
Both the National Police and agents of the Local Police have collaborated in this incident.
