A man is arrested in Tías accused of snatching a woman's purse and another for allegedly stealing gasoline from a vehicle

Members of the Civil Guard of Tías, in collaboration with agents of the Local Police, have arrested this week a man, accused of an alleged crime of robbery with violence. The arrested man, a native of Morocco and with the initials K.E., is charged with "approaching from behind when a woman was accessing her residence and trying to snatch her bag".

The detainee, seeing that the woman resisted, "struggled violently and after giving the victim a strong push, which made her fall to the ground, was able to get the bag", according to the Local Police of Tías. The arrested man was brought to justice.

Also, in the early hours of this Thursday, agents of the Local Police arrested a man accused of an alleged crime of attempted robbery with force. The arrested man is a native of Las Palmas de Gran Canarias and his initials are C.B.L.C.

According to local agents, the events took place in the town of Puerto del Carmen. The police were on duty on Malva Street and observed a man, who "was crouched next to a vehicle, sucking gasoline from the tank with a hose".

After inspecting the area, the agents noticed that another nearby vehicle had also suffered damage to the fuel cap. The police seized a screwdriver, a hose and a plastic container, among other things, from the detainee. C.B.L.C was also brought to justice.

On the other hand, agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police arrested this week P.T.C, a native of the United Kingdom, since there was a judicial request against him in the Criminal Court Number 1 of Arrecife.
