A hundred neighbors attended the Center on Friday night

Socio-Cultural "La Tegala" of Haría, to support the presentation of the

candidates of the Canarian Patriotic Movement (MP) in Lanzarote, ahead of the municipal and regional elections.

The act was opened by the Insular Vice President of the political formation and candidate for mayor of Arrecife, Carlos Valiente, who presented the revolutionary proposals to "lower the salaries of politicians by 50%", if the MP obtains political representation, "and put up electronic panels at the doors of the institutions, where citizens can see in real time what is done with the money from public coffers."

The candidate for Parliament for Lanzarote, Aureliano Montero, made an exhaustive review of the large amounts of profits that the Spanish Government and multinationals obtain from the Canary Islands, and asked the attendees "why don't we have a Canarian Treasury? and a Canarian Social Security? Why doesn't the Canary Islands control its airports?".

Then the candidate for the Cabildo, César Martín, took the floor, who recalled the need to create the great Insular Supply Market, "as a tourist incentive, support for the increasingly sunken agriculture and livestock, and for job creation."

The act was closed by the candidate for mayor of Haría, Ricardo Castro, reviewing the "third-world conditions of the towns in the municipality."
