A fire has burned this Wednesday morning the kitchen of a house in Arrecife. The fire occurred on the second floor of a house located on El Greco street. The couple who live in this house left on their own feet, waiting for the emergency teams to arrive.
Around 11:45 a.m., the Red Cross security guard who provides services on El Reducto beach noticed a strong burning smell, so he approached El Greco street to find out the situation. Given the thick smoke coming from the second floor, this lifeguard accessed the house, where he found a young couple, who managed to leave their house in time.
Firefighters, Civil Protection, agents of the Arrecife Local Police and the National Police Corps have come to this emergency and have managed to put out the fire. To do this, they have closed the street to facilitate their work. Finally, everything has been a scare and the couple was unharmed after this fire in their kitchen.
