A young woman from Lanzarote wanted to show her support to the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, during his vacation with a banner created by herself and placed on a palm tree near La Mareta. As La Voz published, Sánchez has been on vacation in Lanzarote since August 2, staying at La Mareta.
In the photos published on social networks, you can read supportive phrases such as "Welcome, President, Lanzarote is with you" or "Red blood and the heart to the left".
As a result of this gesture, a relative of the young woman, who is a minor, has confirmed to La Voz that the president himself has sent her a message through one of the civil guards who guard the residence, "thanking her for the support and the welcome".
For its part, the PSOE of Lanzarote has published on its Instagram profile the same image of the Lanzarote woman, in which they state that "in the face of hatred, there is also affection. In the face of noise, there is hope. And in the face of those who only want to shout, there is a generation that chooses to build".
