Young Yasira Armas won the first prize of the Valterra Song Festival. The festival, held on Tuesday night on the occasion of the Fiestas del Carmen in the Arrecife neighborhood, was packed with public.
The Councilor for Festivities, David Duarte, presented the award to the young woman, who collected it excitedly after "a spectacular performance", highlights the City Council. The Festival took place in the Valterra Park and was presented by Nando Placeres Curbelo. Among that "packed" audience there were, in addition to neighbors and visitors, several councilors from the Arrecife City Council, who wanted to accompany the young promises.
The festivities of the capital city neighborhood continue this Wednesday with the Musical Encounter of the ‘Parranda Los Gurfines son los del Puerto’, at 9:00 p.m. also in the Valterra Park. Next will be the adult Play-Back show.
On Thursday, starting at 10:00 p.m., the Fashion Show of old and current wedding dresses will take place and, afterwards, there will be a zumba masterclass by the young people of the neighborhood.
