The facade of the Yaiza Town Hall has been displaying the traditional violet ribbon, symbol of International Women's Day, since last Wednesday and until next Friday the 11th. To highlight this day, the Departments of Social Affairs and Immigration and Education and Culture of the Yaiza Town Hall have organized a series of events.
Among others, there will be a Workshop of Joy, given by specialized personnel of the Mararía Association, which will take place next Friday, March 11, starting at 11:30 am, in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, in Playa Blanca.
On the same Friday, at 9:30 pm, at the Los Remedios restaurant, in Yaiza, there will be an exclusive dinner for women. Those interested in attending can register and purchase their ticket, at a price of 25 euros each, at the cultural centers of the municipality.
