The company in charge of water management on the island, Canal Gestión, has announced water cuts in five municipalities of Lanzarote this Tuesday. This was reported through its website.
According to this Tuesday morning's data, Los Valles in Teguise, as well as the towns of San Bartolomé, Tinajo, Yaiza and Tías, do not have a water supply.
Canal Gestión has highlighted that, "apart from the circumstances" that are reported, there are "other incidents" caused by small breakdowns and scheduled maneuvers that "may cause temporary alterations in the supply of specific streets".
According to the company, "these are limited to daily and usual management and therefore do not appear reflected" in the daily update.
