Maritime Rescue has rescued two inflatable boats in the early hours of the morning, with 77 people, including two women, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

Around 02:00 hours, the migrants themselves called for help, reporting engine problems on one of the boats. One boat was carrying 38 migrants and the other 39. They stated that they had left Agadir two days earlier.

After being rescued, they were transferred to the Arrecife Commercial pier to be attended by the Red Cross.

Thus, there have already been seven boats that have arrived in Lanzarote with a total of 334 migrants so far in December.
