Two boats have been located on Thursday night east of the coast of Lanzarote in which there were 108 people, according to the Emergency Consortium.
In the first boat traveled 55 people who have been rescued by Salvamar and transferred to the Commercial dock of the capital of Lanzarote. Among the occupants there are 44 men and ten women, all of sub-Saharan origin except for a man of Maghreb origin.
Once on land, the Red Cross staff has attended to them and have not made the transfer to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
The second of the boats was rescued by Maritime Rescue a few hours later. 53 people were traveling on it and one of them had to be transferred to Molina Orosa due to a mild pathology.
