The Neighborhood Association of Titerroy has requested the Arrecife City Council for "greater control over the bars and entertainment establishments in the neighborhood". And, it affirms that "the activity of these premises extends until the early hours of the morning, generating insecurity and annoyance among the neighbors."

"The noises at dawn prevent sleep and it is almost impossible for some of the neighbors, who say that you can hear the shouts and fights from some bars", they point out from the neighborhood group, from where they assure that right now it is the majority complaint of the residents of the neighborhood.

"It is being out of control, honestly. I don't know if it is that after the confinement we have all gone crazy and the owners of the bars want to take full advantage to make more money", added the president of the Titerroy Neighborhood Association, Ismael Montero. In addition, he criticizes that "no one wears masks." "This is being taken as a joke and I think it is very serious", he points out.

Therefore, from the Titerroy Neighborhood Association they believe that the City Council should inspect the bars to see if they comply with the regulations. Likewise, they also demand a police presence in the neighborhood. In this regard, in addition to the Council, the neighborhood group affirms that it will also send a letter to the Government of the Canary Islands to request that it allocate support police to Arrecife.
