Titerroy residents criticize the City Council for leaving the parish street "without Christmas lights"

The Titerroy Neighborhood Association has criticized the Arrecife City Council for leaving the neighborhood's parish street "without Christmas lights" and has asked the City Council for explanations, in a letter addressed to the mayor.

"The neighbors can't believe how the main street, where the Parish of San José Obrero is located, can be left without Christmas lights," says the group, which states that, since the Christmas lights began to be installed, the institution was "informed" "not to forget to put up lighting decorations" on said street.

Thus, the Titerry Neighborhood Association has asked the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez, to report on "why Carlos III street has not been decorated," recalling that Christmas is one of the most important holidays for Christians. "It is an important milestone for us, the end of a year, a time for gifts, celebrations, family gatherings, and for practicing Christians, an emotional religious holiday," he points out.
