The Tinasoria Park, located between Tornajo and Las Quemadas streets in Arrecife, will be inaugurated on Saturday. The opening of this new green space coincides with World Tree Day. For this reason, the Councilor for Neighborhoods, Cleaning, Parks and Gardens, Antonio Machín, will carry out the planting of flamboyant trees and dragon trees in the aforementioned park.
In addition, one thousand geraniums will also be placed on Tajarate Avenue in Argana and in the following days another 3,000 plants will be planted in the capital. From the council they have commented that "by virtue of the commitment acquired to adapt and comply with the European recommendations, we have proceeded to replace the existing sand pavement with another made of rubber".
Due to the construction of the new park, the representatives of Gardens have stated that "it has been used to place more and new toys for the enjoyment of the little ones and the action carried out had as its premise to achieve two well-differentiated areas in this playground: one destined for play and another dedicated to the garden where it will be used to plant new specimens of flamboyant trees and Canary Island dragon trees".
