Three boats rescued near the coast of Lanzarote

Three boats have been intercepted during the night and early morning of this Monday, October 2, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

The first of them was rescued around 9:00 p.m. 39 miles from Arrecife. There were 43 people on board who were transferred to Puerto Naos, where they were treated by the Red Cross. In addition, shortly after, 31 people arrived on their own means to Puerto Naos at around two in the morning.

Hours later, another inflatable boat was located with 51 people on board, 50 men and one of them a woman. All were transferred by Salvamar to Puerto Naos also around two in the morning.

And at about 6:30 in the morning this Monday, the helicopter intercepted another boat with 60 people off the coast of Órzola. At the moment Salvamar is going in search of them, they are expected to arrive at Puerto Naos at about 9:25 am.

Of the two boats rescued in the early morning, none of the people had to be treated by the health services, all are in apparent good health.
