In the early morning of this Sunday, May 28, up to three boats have been located near the coasts of Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The first of them has been intercepted on the line between Arrieta and Punta Mujeres. It was about 2 in the morning and 38 men of Maghreb origin were traveling in it. Two of them had to be transferred to Molina Orosa for different pathologies, as reported by the Red Cross.
A few hours later, another pneumatic-type boat with 49 people on board was rescued in territorial waters. Among the migrants, there are 47 men, a woman and a minor, all of Maghreb origin. They have been transferred to the Commercial dock where they have been treated by the Red Cross and three of them have been evacuated to the hospital for different pathologies.
Finally, a fishing boat has located another boat about 60 miles northeast of Arrecife at 07.45 hours. There were 48 people traveling in it, 45 men and 3 women, of Maghreb origin who have been rescued by Maritime Rescue and have taken them to the Commercial dock.
With respect to the CATE, all the emigrants have been referred, this Sunday only the occupants of the last three boats would remain
