As every year, the residents of Yaiza celebrated the maritime and land procession in the town of Playa Blanca. The event, known as the Great Day of the Town, was celebrated on July 16th.
At 12:00 noon, the solemn function began in Plaza del Carmen, the land procession and the embarkation of the Virgin. The Yaiza Municipal Band accompanied this event and the reception on the town's beach with the Pal' Porrón band.
