The town of Los Ancones enjoys its West Carnival

The Burial of the Sardine and a fireworks show put the finishing touch to the party

Los Ancones Town Carnival

The town of Los Ancones closed this Sunday the West Carnival, with the traditional parade of the Burial of the Sardine and the fireworks show.

On Saturday the celebration of the Day Carnival took place. From noon the traditional verbena began, and the streets and the town square were flooded with joy with the carnival festivities.

In addition, the town had a live musical performance, and a group of friends with drums, boxes and bass drums, played some musical themes touring a mini parade to reach the town square.

The Culture and Events Commission of Los Ancones thanks all the people who enjoyed the Carnival in the town. In addition, they also thank the neighbors, Miguel Delgado Gonzalez for the elaboration of the Sardine, the group of friends for the batucada, Félix for the light service, the City Council of Teguise and the Department of Culture and Festivities, and Gorec Emergencias Lanzarote for the collaboration.
