The Timple House Museum resumes its activity after the summer break

After the summer break, the Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise has resumed the program of concerts planned until the end of the year. A program organized by Benito Cabrera, Commissioner of the Casa-Museo, together with the Cultural area of the City Council.

At 12:00 noon this Sunday, the first concert was started by the Trío Puertas al Sur. It is formed by Beatriz Alonso, solo voice and effects, Miguel Manescau, guitar and Luis Suárez, percussion, pads and synthesizers. The concert was in the patio of the Casa-Museo, under a blazing sun, a fact that did not prevent the public from enjoying a very novel musical repertoire until the end. With a modernized perspective through the fusion of Afro-Latin rhythms, with contemporary electronic music to which was added the powerful and clear voice of Beatriz Alonso, a woman who transmits and makes her art easily reach the present audience who from their seats follow the measures of some very catchy rhythms that you cannot miss.

The concert was based on the presentation of their new record work entitled "Puertas Adentro", which includes a variant of genres ranging from Cumbia, Festejo, Bomba or Plena among others which are part of the musical culture of Latin American, African and pre-Columbian indigenous countries to which, respecting their root of origin, the fusion is included, achieving that they gain in rhythm and freshness, all pure inspiration that they share with a very careful staging in each of the themes they interpret during the concert.

Betariz, Miguel and Luis conquered the public who at all times supported them with their applause and once the concert was finished, the Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council, Nori Machín, presented them with the poster announcing the concert.
