The city of Arrecife has witnessed the arrival of their majesties the Kings of the East. The traditional parade, in which the camels and Christmas fantasy floats were not lacking, departed from the vicinity of the City Hall at half past six in the afternoon, until reaching El Reducto beach.

During the tour, the monarchs and royal pages threw three tons of candy as they passed through the maritime avenue. The Three Wise Men were accompanied by 15 dromedaries, the Rancho de Pascua de Tinajo, three floats, a batucada and the stilt walkers and jugglers of the Royal Court.

Like the previous year, the postmen and postwomen of Correos have joined the procession in their best clothes to collect the letters from the latecomers and forgetful.

At the end of the Parade, at 8:30 p.m., the Parranda Los Gurfines offered the traditional Christmas concert in La Plazuela.
