The Three Wise Men distribute the first gifts to children admitted to the Molina Orosa hospital

The children admitted to the Pediatric area of ​​the Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife received a visit from the Three Wise Men this Monday. The Management of Health Services of Lanzarote, dependent on the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, wanted to celebrate these Christmas holidays with a series of events in which workers, family members and patients participate, with the aim of making the stay of the latter more bearable at the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The events began at Christmas and end with the activities of the Three Kings Day, to commemorate these holidays in different ways and strengthen the relationship that arises between patients and health professionals during their stay at the hospital center. Thus, the lobby of the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital was decorated with Christmas motifs and the traditional Nativity Scene, made by the center's orderlies.

In addition, the youngest patients were also able to enjoy the performances of clowns, who made the little ones laugh, dream and forget about their current medical situation. On the other hand, in the Gynecology area, the first baby born in Lanzarote in 2016 was welcomed.

This Monday, the eve of Three Kings Day, the Amica Vox Choir has offered a recital that has made the stay more pleasant for patients and workers. His concert arrives

after the success of the Lanzarote Classical Orchestra initiative last Christmas. This year, the vocal formation has surprised with Christmas songs such as White Christmas, Silent Night, Adeste Fideles, The first Nowel and Joy to the World.

Also, Their Majesties the Three Wise Men from the East and their entourage, made up of personnel from the Department of Culture of the Teguise City Council, have visited the pediatric floor and the rest of the hospital to distribute gifts and Christmas presents to the little ones and share smiles and enthusiasm with everyone: family members, patients and workers.
