The Insular Theater of Arrecife hosts this Friday the II Solidarity Song Festival of the Island of Lanzarote

The Department of Education and Culture of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, in collaboration with the Arrecife City Council, and the Government of the Canary Islands, invites citizens to enjoy the II Solidarity Song Festival which, organized by Cáritas Lanzarote and Acción Verapaz, will be held this Friday at the Teatro Insular de Arrecife.

This is the second call for a festival with two purposes, on the one hand, to promote education in values and, on the other, to contribute to the benefit of the Cáritas Lanzarote program and international cooperation with Acción Verapaz.

The II Lanzarote Island Solidarity Song Festival will feature eight musical performances that will be staged in two sessions. The first of these will take place during the morning of this Friday and is intended for students from the different participating schools. The second will be at 8:00 p.m., aimed at the parents of these students and the general public. In the latter, an eight-euro donation ticket will be charged.

Students from CEIP César Manrique Cabrera in Tahíche, IES Teguise, IES Salinas, IES Arrecife, IES Haría, IES Yaiza, Colegio Santa María de Los Volcanes de Nazaret and young people from the Altavista parish are participating in the event.
