The storm that crossed the Canary Islands this Tuesday left a surprising waterspout in the vicinity of Lanzarote, which was captured from an airplane, whose images have been published on social networks by Air Traffic Controllers.

It should be remembered that the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has declared a pre-alert situation for rain from this Tuesday and until further notice throughout the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, expecting "showers that locally may be of strong intensity and leave a lot of water in a short time" without ruling out thunderstorms.

However, for its part, the State Meteorological Agency has not yet activated any weather warnings for Lanzarote.
