The singer-songwriter from Lanzarote, Rosana Arbelo, is recording this Saturday on the island the video clip of En la memoria de la piel (In the memory of the skin), the second single from her new album, which also gives title to that song. The well-known music magazine Billboard has chosen this album as one of the ten best Latin albums of 2016.
The artist was "very happy" to carry out this work in her native land and stressed that "being called that way [in reference to the name of the single and her album] could not be recorded in another place other than Lanzarote. It is the essence of one that is not forgotten even if you want to. And I don't want to forget it ever because it has to do with each of us."
The recording began first thing this Saturday in the Charco de Los Clicos, in El Golfo (Yaiza), one of the most spectacular landscapes of the island that arose from an underwater volcanic eruption that gave rise to a crater that houses a lagoon of emerald green color inside.
Los Hervideros, Timanfaya, La Geria, the El Cuervo Volcano or lJameos del Agua are other places, along with El Golfo, in which the filming team that accompanies Rosana, about twenty professionals, as well as the extras from the Island who will participate in this musical short film directed by Iñaki Peñafiel, have been interested.
