Carnival arrived with force this Saturday in Tinajo. After Don Carnal passed through almost the entire island, the residents of the municipality enjoyed this great festival dressed in their costumes.

Hundreds of Lanzarote residents came to the arena at 5:30 p.m. to see the parade of floats that departed from the Plaza de Los Dolores. The parade also featured music from the murgas, comparsas, and batucadas that joined the arena at the municipal soccer field.

Later, the residents enjoyed the popular festival entertained by the "Trío Doramas", the orchestras "Banda Nueva" and the "Cuarteto Atlántico".

In addition, Sunday was the turn for the little ones who were able to show off their costumes at the Children's Carnival and also participated in a modern dance workshop with Javy Martín, a former contestant on the television program "Fama". Tinajo also featured performances by Bruno Ramírez and the dance couple formed by Estefanía and Serafín.

As a final culmination to the Carnival, a parade was held with the animation of the Batucada de Tinajo and the burning of the Budión.
