The Arrecife City Council, through the Department of Festivities, has reached an agreement with the Canary Islands delegation of the Official Miss and Mister Spain Organization in order to celebrate the Gala for the election of Queen of the San Ginés Festivities and Miss Lanzarote.
According to explanations from the City Council, one of the main reasons why the Department of Festivities has made the decision is that the girls who present themselves to this gala can access the official Miss Las Palmas contest and, if classified, to Miss Spain, since in previous editions it was not possible for them to compete.
The agreement between the Arrecife City Council and the Official Organization of the Misses contemplates the inclusion of artists and creators from Lanzarote during the development of the Gala, such as the conejera designer María Cao, in charge of part of the clothing used by the girls.
The Miss Lanzarote election Gala, which will take place on August 15, will feature, among other things, a jury of personalities from the world of fashion, a notary and musical performances, and will also cover the objective of the Arrecife City Council that the candidates can later access the most important beauty contest in the country, Miss Spain.
