The National Institute of Meteorology forecasts summer weather throughout the Canary Islands during this Holy Week

This Holy Week, the National Institute of Meteorology foresees summer weather in the Canary Islands. The INM predictor Irene Peñate stated this Tuesday that "the skies will be partly cloudy, with some intervals mainly in the north. The cloudiness will tend to subside in the afternoon. In general, the weather will be stable and in the south it is guaranteed that it will not rain."

Temperatures will not experience changes during the next days, although tomorrow they will even tend to rise somewhat. Regarding the wind and the state of the sea, Irene Peñate pointed out that "some wind is expected, rather in the high areas it will even be moderate, but on the surface the wind will be weak. The north wind will predominate and no significant phenomena are expected at sea either. There will be choppy seas with areas of swell."

Good weather will preside over Holy Week, with an Alisios regime, but from next Sunday, April 8, there will be a risk of some weak precipitation in the north of the westernmost islands and in the south of Tenerife and La Palma there will be cloudiness of evolution.
