The number of patients admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital continues to grow, although not at the rate at which infections are occurring on the island. On Monday afternoon there were 20 patients hospitalized, which is two more than three days ago.
Of those patients, 17 remain on the ward and three are in the Intensive Care Unit, where in recent days there has been one discharge, but also a new admission.
The three patients hospitalized in the ICU in Lanzarote are all men and are 56, 62 and 65 years old.
As for the 17 who remain on the ward, there are more women, with a total of 9 compared to 8 men. The youngest is 20 years old and the oldest is 88.
