The José Saramago hall of the César Manrique Foundation in La Plazuela hosted the second concert programmed by the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote, framed within the Classical Concerts Cycle.
At 8:30 p.m., the first chords of this concert, composed of String Quartet and Clarinet, began to sound. The quartet was formed by musicians belonging to the Classical Orchestra of Lanzarote, and on this occasion, they were accompanied by clarinetist Ayoze Rodríguez Martín. Juan Carlos Gómez and Eduardo Langarica were in charge of playing violins 1 and 2, Melchor García on the viola, and Diego Armando Pérez on the cello. The five musicians chose works by two composers from the late 18th century, Weber and Reicha, for this concert, with extraordinary sonic beauty and freshness in all their movements. Without a doubt, the audience enjoyed the chosen works, where the professionalism and dedication of the participating musicians were evident.
The young clarinetist Ayoze Rodríguez Martín felt very supported by his other four fellow musicians, who at all times made their instruments sound perfectly, thus ensuring that the audience rewarded them with their applause, and as a sign of gratitude, the musicians presented them with a musical encore.
The next appointment is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, and will feature the concert of "String Quintet and Saxophone."
