The neighbors of San Bartolomé continue to enjoy the events scheduled for the festivities. This weekend, in the tent installed in the Félix Rodríguez de La Fuente park, the family of "Las Jacarandas" staged one of the most anticipated humor numbers at the festivities.
This group, made up of about 15 women, and which this year had the collaboration of 20 children, managed to bring a smile to the numerous public that, one more night, filled the capacity of this place again.
The characters of Rafaella Carrá and the deceased Lola Flores and Rocío Jurado paraded across the stage with very good taste and ease. There was even space for a little more modern music, with the performance of a Shakira double. Thus, the children performed a very successful song and choreography of the famous World Cup song, "Waka, Waka".
"Las Jacaranda"s also had the special collaboration of the Ballet Tahíche Dance and the dance couples from the Lanzarote Baila school. The act ended with the staging of the dance inspired by Apache dances, in which the participants were very well characterized.
All the children and adults who were in the tent in this square participated in this edition and thanked the artists for their work, applauding for several minutes.
