‘The enchanted forest’ will be the allegory of the next Haría Carnival, which will be held in February. That has been the winning theme in the vote organized by the City Council to choose the allegory through the City Council website.

The chosen theme garnered 69% of the votes, thus surpassing ‘The Wild West’, which was left with 18% of popular support, and ‘The Roman Empire’, which finished in third position, with 13% support from Internet users.

Regarding the poster for these parties, the bases for the creation of the poster for the Haría Carnival 2016, in relation to the winning proposal, will be published soon, the City Council has announced.

The mayor of Haría, Marci Acuña, has encouraged the residents of the municipality and the rest of the island to prepare their costumes, "to enjoy parties that have been growing year after year due to their uniqueness and the good atmosphere prevailing."

On the other hand, the Councilor for the Festivities area, Soraya Brito, has announced that the registration period for the Carnival floats that wish to participate in the Haría Coso will be open from Monday, January 18 to Friday, February 12.

Those interested, who must comply with current safety regulations, must register in the Haría City Council Registry, with the corresponding application and all the requested documentation.
